Chris Wood grew up In the foothills of Virginia and was raised on country and gospel music. Throughout his high school years, he was introduced to jazz and soul. He spent 7 years in Seattle where crafted his own sound of alt country and folk rock. You can see influences of gospel and soul throughout his own acoustic sound.
