Bed and Breakfast - private retreat

Your private party will be the only guests at this hidden gem. Your on-site host/concierge will completely respect your privacy while assuring a comfortable stay with custom entertainment options. 

You will have one to three very large and special bedrooms (depending on the size and configuration of your party). The elegant Jane Austen Room is on the main floor and has a queen bed with gas fireplace. The upstairs Mark Twain Room has two double beds with a tasteful Americana theme. It has incredible wood walls from 1890 with exquisitely refinished original floors. Both rooms have beautiful views of the countryside. A third bedroom, on the main floor, is the Emily Dickinson Room with a queen and twin bed. It overlooks the countryside and an English courtyard with ivy-covered walls. 

A fresh continental breakfast is served in your lovely private breakfast room. Cereal, oatmeal and yogurt are available and each night homemade baked goods will be set out, so that you can have breakfast whenever you choose. There is 24/7 access to coffee,tea, hot chocolate, juice, water and a refrigerator.

The showstopper of the house is the second floor grand library, where you will be transported to an English manor house. High teas can be booked for your party as well. 

You have access to large upper and lower front porches with sweeping and breathtaking views of the rolling hills, streams and woods. You will undoubtably see regular visits frm our many deer and wild turkey.

There is a gazebo with rockers close to the house and another gazebo at the top of the hill which is a full sunroom with a deck and incredible mountain, sunrise and sunset views.

You can hike on the private 75 acres or choose from many of the area's spectactular trails. 

Floyd's music, wine, food and arts scene will keep you as busy as you want to be, though you might be tempted to never leave the property. 

There are two listings on Airbnb, with different options. The private room listing is as described above, 1-3 bedrooms with one shared bath, for your party. Depending on the rooms you book, you may choose the upstairs or downstairs bathroom. There is the chance that a private tea party event in the library may be held for a couple hours in an afternoon during your stay. The second bathroom is held for the use of those guests. If you prefer to have two bathrooms, unlimited use of the library, with no possible outside events, as well as access to the family room with TV, then you would want to book through the "entire house" option on Airbnb. It is most of the house, not the entire house, as the host suite and kitchen are private. It is listed on Airbnb as Retreats at Fiddlesticks Farmhouse.
