Chateau Morrisette Winery is located 300 feet off the Blue Ridge Parkway, only 4 miles north of Mabry Mill and 4 miles south of Rocky Knob in beautiful Floyd County, Virginia. The winery offers wine tastings and tours 7-days a week. Tastings include a sampling of ten different wines and a tour of the winery for $8 per person ($10 if you want to keep the glass). There is a full service, 4-diamond restaurant at the winery offering lunch Wednesday through Sunday and dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. (Reduced hours for the restaurant Jan-Mar - open every day in Oct).

The Black Dog Music Festivals are a great time to visit. Held in the Nancy Morrisette Field adjacent to the winery, these concerts draw thousands of people each year.
